Daniel Bender
Managing Director

Mr. Bender is a Managing Director with AEG Partners and brings an extensive background in the development and execution of operational strategy and financial improvement. He has led the design and implementation of process improvement and cost reduction initiatives, as well as sales and marketing programs.

Mr. Bender has over 18 years experience working across a broad range of industries including consumer products, consumer electronics, insurance, information technologies, professional services, heavy equipment manufacturing and distribution, and is currently engaged as a senior restructuring advisor with select AEG clients. Recent AEG engagements include serving as Chief Restructuring Officer during the financial and operational turnaround of a food products manufacturer.

Prior to joining AEG, Mr. Bender was a senior consulting manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers and principal of Novo Consulting's Chicago office and has worked with clients in the U.S., Europe and Japan. As a brand manager for Pepsi-Co, Dan managed numerous brands, including the marketing and sales, consumer promotion and logistics functions of these businesses. In addition, he has held the titles of Senior Vice President of Marketing and Director of Professional Services. Mr. Bender holds an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, is a member of the Chicago chapter of the Turnaround Management Association.
