Professional Experience

Selected examples of Kelly’s restructuring experience include:
  • Served as financial and operating advisor to an automotive safety component manufacturer facing acute liquidity and operational distress.  Led a comprehensive assessment, developed a turnaround plan and directed execution, including organizational restructuring, workforce training, and customer price renegotiations.  Successfully implemented price increases up to 300% across more than 20 customers, 100% customer retention postimplementation.
  • Advised a Midwest-based sanitary products manufacturer suffering from critical cash flow and performance challenges; led a comprehensive review of the core operations and non-core affiliates, identified significant cash conservation opportunities, and established the foundation for a full refinancing of the senior debt.
Kelly’s prior leadership roles have included:

General Manager / Animal Nutrient and Contract Manufacturing
Led a strategic turnaround by restoring profitability (closing 72% of the profit gap in year one), rationalizing pricing, implementing a quality management system, and redesigning the organization—reducing employee turnover from 70% to under 20%. Strengthened customer relationships, earning Supplier of the Year recognition from a major CPG customer.

General Manager & CIO
Rebuilt and scaled the Parts division [type of business?] and enterprise technical infrastructure, driving 4× revenue and EBITDA growth while reducing operating costs through full utilization of Oracle EBS (QMS, eCommerce, PLM).
Previously Kelly held positions with both corporate, private equity and consulting firms including Freightcar America Inc, Panasonic Lighting Technologies, Inc., TMB Industries, General Motors and Electronic Data Systems.  Kelly is a green belt in six sigma.
